The Denver Broncos are a professional football team. They were founded in 1960 as a member of the American Football League and were included in the AFL's 1970 merger with the National Football League. They currently play in the American Football Conference West, where they have been since the merger. The team's home stadium is Empower Filed At Mile High, although they spent the majority of their history at Mile High Stadium. The Broncos have won three Super Bowls and have had 22 playoff appearances.
